With an “accident prevention regulation in the deconstructed state” the inspection is carried out in accordance with Section 4.3.1 of the “Basic principles for the inspection of centrifuges by qualified experts under the accident prevention regulation for centrifuges VBG 7z (ZH1/5)”. This includes among other things the inspection of all safety-relevant equipment and components, the inspection of all parts in relation to their level of wear, and the replacement of all bearings, seals and other worn parts.
With an “accident prevention regulation in the operating state” we not only check the components which are vital for ensuring safe operation of centrifuges, but rather the centrifuge undergoes a comprehensive inspection so that the maintenance condition can be assessed in precise detail. As a consequence, sensible intervals for necessary maintenance which will ensure reliable operation can be stipulated in consultation with the customer.
